As for Gym Class Confidential:
I can't really relate TOO MUCH to this episode considering I never took showers at school. Heck, I was exempted from gym in high school! Though I can definitely relate to Macie's fears. I can see how sex and puberty can be an uncomfortable thing to talk about, but learning it is still mandatory. Better to know how to protect yourself from STD's than to habe unprotected sex! And as for Ginger, Dodie and Macie, better they learn about that certain "monthly visitor" now than have them unzipping their pants one day only to find red everywhere and not knowing what's going on. I would've liked Macie to see the whole video though and the projector to not break down. The Carl and Hoodsey story is interesting too, I can definitely understand Hoodsey's fear of being naked in public (I can relate to that much), and Carl & Hoodsey wanting to break the world record for longest time without bathing does sound like a very Carl thing. You know, there's an episode of Fanboy & Chum-Chum called "Fanboy Stinks" where Fanboy tries to break that same record. Of course, that episode goes in a vastly different direction than this one. Hey, Casey, Ashli, maybe if you can find one more. Nicktoon episode where someone tries to break the record for most time without bathing, you could talk about that episode along with Gym Class Confidential and Fanboy Stinks in an episode of the Friday Night Nicktoons podcast along with those 40 other ideas I tweeted you (yes, that was me who sent you all those FNN episode ideas on Twitter).
Anyway, that's all I have to say. I'm in between!

On The Nurses' Strike:
Ginger and Lois have such great chemistry in this episode. It's so nice to see Ginger slowly opening up to Lois and getting closer to her when they talk while cleaning. It's also nice that Ginger decides to come along cleaning for a reason. I'm sure in some other shows, they would've just given some dumb reason or no reason at all for Ginger wanting to come, but here, she has a reason--she needs the money to pay for an upcoming trip. So the plot feels very natural amd not forced at all, and of course, it's very satisying for Ginger to finally get the money for the trip at the end. I would've liked to maybe see her on the trip though as we never see it in the episode & we only hear Ginger talk about it after it happened. That would've showed us why she wanted to go on the trip in the first place.
Really like the Carl and Hoodsey plot too, nice to see a little callback to "Summer of Camp Caprice" with the Duchess. "Never Can Say Goodbye" called back to that too with Ginger and Darren attempting to go together & it not working out (Oh, and Casey, Ashli, if you're wondering about Sasha, he'll be reappearing in "Ginger's Solo" and "Heat Lightning," so look out for that. I'm sure Patricia's not looking forward to that. By the way, Patricia, this is totally off-topic, but if you think Sasha is bland, go watch Butch Hartman's new Nicktoon Bunsen is a Beast. Mikey is the absolute blandest cartoon character I've ever seen. He has no personality or traits at all. Sasha looks 3-dimensional compared to Mikey!)
One final thing I wanna say, and this isn't related to As Told By Ginger per se, but I wanted to bring it up. Yesterday, Aspen Vincent revealed on her social media that she's pregnant! I tweeted this to Patricia so she might already know, but what do you guys think about that? Aspen says the baby is due in late January.
Well, that's all I want to say for now. I'm in between!

Winston, she called me 'Claire'! [Mrs. Gripling to her chauffeur] Thinking about this episode: I'm trying to remember if I would have had the strength of character to stand up to someone like Miranda at that age. One thing's for certain, there would have been NO tolerance for a middle of the night "I can't sleep" call - even from folks I LIKED!
So the girls, under the guise of feeling sorry for the suddenly friendless Miranda, have a plan to call the shots and push her around (she won't know what to do without Courtney - she'll be docile as a lamb), but then don't do ANY of that. Darren and Lois BOTH call Ginger on it (Ginger being in denial, after all), who, after finally building the courage to tell Miranda off, becomes TERRIFIED at the thought of their "arrangement" becoming permanent (and Miranda ORDERS her to get a pager!). Thankfully, that didn't come to pass, since Courtney and Miranda are entirely co-dependent.
It was fun watching the boys wallow in luxury. Poor Blake - they're finally in "his" world and they still don't include him!
Very funny how Mrs. Gripling need to drive each time Winston becomes hysterical with grief - and she's lousy at it (Brakes Madam!).
BTW: Say, "Heartlover Seventeen Seventeen"

Hey, Patricia, Casey, and Ashli! Let's talk about "TGIF!" A decent episode. Nothing spectacular, but still amusing to watch. I especially love how Carl loves Friday the 13th and wants to get "bad luck." Typical Carl. I can definitely see why Friday the 13th is his favorite holiday considering his Christmas wish never came true (at least until "An Even Steven Holiday Special"), though I feel like Halloween should be his second, because I can totally see Carl loving candy & wanting to get it for free from neighbors! But I digress. Man, the Foutleys get hit hard in this episode. Their entire house closed due to a mold breaking loose? Yikes. At least they get on the news, and they get to ride to school with the Griplings, and Ginger gets to go to their house! So I guess Carl's right--bad luck CAN lead to good luck. Speaking of which, Casey, Ashli, keep your eyes on Buzz. He'll be coming back a couple times in the show. As a matter of fact, his next appearance is only 2 episodes away! This isn't related to As Told By Ginger exactly, but it's something I want to bring up: Nicktoons' 26th anniversary is tomorrow as of the day I'm posting this, on Friday, August 11th! (Speaking of which, Casey, Ashli, why aren't you doing something involving the 3 original Nicktoons for tomorrow's FNN episode?) I actually made a picture last year that's basically a collage of a ton of Nicktoons characters together. I even got a retweet from Nick Animation themselves! Check it out: pbs.twimg.com/media/DG6A3SSUAAAfQCh.jpgCan you guys name every character on that picture? Probably not, but I made a Sporcle quiz to see if you COULD guess every character. If you wanna play it, check it out here: www.sporcle.com/games/P0CK3TB00Krocks/nicktoons-characters If you guys DO play it, screenshot your score & send it to me on Twitter @snorbertd1. I wanna see how well you did! DJ/No Parking Berry took it & he got 129/132! He's a huge Nicktoon enthusiast. The only reason he didn't get a perfect score was because he didn't know Sam from Rocket Power's last name (I had to add in his last name because Sam from Danny Phantom has the same name), he couldn't spell "Skulker" right, and he forgot Timmy Turner. Whoops, there's 3 answers I just gave away! Play my quiz & see how many you get! Make sure you screenshot me your score & tweet it to me @snorbertd1 because I wanna see what you got! Well, that's all I gotta say for now. I'm in between!

Where was Ashli in this new episode?
Well, anyway, I agree with you guys, I give "Lunatic Lake" a "yay." Not a strong yay, but I still enjoyed this episode. The best part of it was no doubt Joanne's over-the-top antics. Seeing her going completely ballistic and act so cranky and out of control is absolutely hilarious. I can definitely see some people being put off from that, but I personally find it very funny. She's just an absolute mess, and we'll be seeing her a few more times down the line with some more crazy antics. The Carl and Hoodsey plot was interesting. I like the times where both plots intersect, because most of the times, they're independent from each other. So that is definitely a plus on this episode's part. By the way, Casey, since you're such a huge Dodie apologist, I wonder how you'll defend her actions in "Dodie's Big Break." That's definitely her worst appearance in the series in my opinion, but that episode's not till season 3.
By the way, thanks for playing my Sporcle quiz, Casey! You really need to brush up on the 2010's Nicktoons though! Can't wait till you and Ashli brush up on some 2010's Nicktoons on FNN. Many of the billion ideas I gave you had some 2010's Nicktoons in there. So far, you've only talked about exactly ONE 2010's Nicktoon episode--"Keep Bikini Bottom Beautiful" from SpongeBob, and that episode was barely edged into the 2010s. It aired on January 2, 2010.
Remember to get Ashli to play the quiz, Casey! And Patricia, you should play it too! Let's see how much of a Nicktoons fan you are! I already gave you the link! Tweet me a screencap of your score once you've played @snorbertd1. Same goes for any other WIB followers who want to play my quiz!
That's all for now! I'm in between!

Ashli was gone again this episode!
Well, congrats, guys, you're now halfway through the series! Here's the updated spreadsheet:
"April Fool's" is a pretty good episode. Not the best, but it's so chaotic, especially towards the end. That twist actually completely caught me off guard the first time I saw the episode. Carl and Hoodsey plot was okay too. I actually don't have much to say about the episode at all. But now you're halfway through the series. Strap in, Casey and Ashli, the show's gonna change A LOT from this point on. And Patricia, Ashli, make sure you play my Sporcle quiz! You still know the link! And don't forget to screencap your score & tweet it to me @snorbertd1!
That's all for now! Congrats on reaching the halfway point of the series! I'm in between!

Hello again, not sure if my reply went through so here it goes. This is about the episode Ms. Foutley's Boys.
As one YouTube comment read, and I do have to agree, this episode is part of my top five more annoying episodes (with Dodie's Big Break, Kiss Today Goodbye, Of Lice and Friends and I believe Deja Who, is the last one), if only for some little things that do bother me:
1) Buzz: To quite a number of people, Tom Kenny is a really good voice actor, but to me, his voice can be potentially grating (here's looking at you Spongebob). And when he lowers his voice and adds a lazy twang to it, as he portrays Buzz, Tom Kenny sounds slimy and unscrupulous to me. But that's just me.
2)Ginger: Though it's apparent through many episodes, (Love With a Proper Transfer Student, The Even Stevens Holiday Special, New Girl in Town, Family Therapy, Ten Chairs, Battle of the Bands, to name a few), that Ginger is a bit of a busy body with a big heart, I think she went a little off kilter with this one, especially since she put her mom essentially on a dating ad in the local paper most likely without her mom's knowledge. I dunno, maybe I am looking way too far into it, but it would have been cool if somehow she sensed that her mother wasn't happy with Buzz?
And finally Carl. I gave Carl the credit of being a manipulative but assertive little boy and in act one he pretty much acted like so. But somewhere in act two, around the time after the whole blackout scene where the three kids figure out where his wallet is, Carl ends up assimilating in the other boys activities such as chasing them with pool skimmers, paint ball and vacuum chasing. It just seemed a little off for me with that slight change in Carl, then again I might be looking too much into it.
The pros are the continuity of the character of Ginger. She has a good heart and wants to help people, even if she's feeling chaffed herself. And Lois, as usual was the awesome, sage, kick butt mom in the series and has always been my favorite character in the show because she doesn't really change her stance much and is firm in her attitudes and beliefs.
Oh and side note: IF and/or when you can get Emily Kapnek on your Casual Chats (which would be super awesome), you could always ask her about the continuity hole between Wicked Game and Easter Ham I believe were the two episodes, also about the slight hole in Macie/RJ (Hoodsey) relationship. I know it was patched up with the whole "he's an exchange student so he won't be coming back", but I did see some potential with the two of them. Or at least, I always thought that when Macie was a senior and RJ was a freshman, he'd come clean with his feelings about Macie and in a way them becoming sweethearts. But that's just me.
