Hey guys, have we got a special treat for you! We're having not one, but TWO special guests for this weekend. Guests we know you're going to love. Who are they? Well, let's begin, shall we? Our first special guest is one we've tried to get on since the beginning, but was difficult to get a hold of due to her having no website or social media to message her. But thanks to our previous guest, Jackie Harris Greenberg, we have reached her and she's agreed to joining us for the podcast. It's a guest you've been requesting for a long time! It's Liz Georges, the voice actress behind Courtney Gripling. She's also being in another animated shows such as Spiderman: The Animated Series, Aaahh!!! Real Monsters, Phantom 2040, and more. We'll be interviewing her on October 29th and release it on November 18th as we kickstart Season 3 on November 14th. Our second guest is someone I got a hold of since As Told by Ginger Month back in 2015. We tried to schedule an interview, but it didn't work out. She voiced a one-off character in one of the TV movies and never appeared in any episode since, but she's the most unique of them all due to an interesting fact. Back in 2002, she was sick with a bone marrow syndrome and thanks to the Make a Wish Foundation, she appeared in an episode of As Told by Ginger. Now, she'll share her story for us on the podcast. That's right, it's Leandra Argyros: the girl who gives the girls a positive pep talk in the 3rd TV movie Butterflies are Free. She'll be joining us for the 3rd TV movie recap and a bonus podcast for an interview. If you have any questions for either of these ladies, let us know and we may read it. Thank you so much, everyone. We're in Between!

Hi Liz I just wanted to say that you did such an amazing job voicing Courtney, I just love her! My question for you is what is your favorite episode of the show? (As Told By Ginger).

Love you, Liz!
I am very curious as to your interpretation on Courtney's "interest" in Ginger. Many fans feel that Courtney's feelings for Ginger were romantic, one piece of evidence to support this being when Courtney gave Ginger a Courtney blow-up doll as a going away present in "Far From Home", then wearing a shirt with Ginger's picture on it when she is away. Do you agree that Courtney's obsession with Ginger was a same-sex crush, or do you feel it was simply just an obsession?
There are rumors about a proposed episode in which Courtney admitted that she was in love with Ginger, but Nickelodeon would not allow it. Can you confirm if this is true or not, and if true, tell us a bit more about what would have happened?
(SEASON 3 SPOILERS) Is there any reason why Courtney does not appear much in the later part of Season 3, and why her social life hit an all time low in high school, even before the Griplings lost their fortune? Why do you think ATBG's writers decided to do all that to poor Courtney as the series rushed to a close?
We don't see Courtney in the final moment of the series. What do you think became of her in the future?
Also, do you remember the lyrics for Courtney's theme song? Let's hear you sing it as Courtney!

Hello, Liz! Thanks for agreeing to be on this podcast! Glad Patricia and Casey were finally able to get a hold of you!
A lot of people believe that Ginger should become friends with Courtney and dump Dodie and Macie, especially after the events of “Wicked Game” where Dodie and Macie conspire to break her and Darren up. Do you agree? In relation to the previous question, why do you think Ginger never became Courtney’s friend? (Spoiler alert) At the end of the series, the Griplings go broke. How do you think this affected Courtney? What do you think her life would be like now?

Hello, Leandra! This is definitely an interesting guest choice since all the other voice actors that have been on this podcast have been main or recurring characters. You simply played a one-off character, but a very interesting one!
What got you into As Told By Ginger? Did something about the show’s writing & presentation stick with you that made you wish to be a guest on the podcast? Aside from Butterflies Are Free, what is your personal favorite episode of As Told By Ginger? Since you have now recovered from your bone marrow syndrome, how does that make you feel? Do you believe that getting your wish & voicing a character on the show you love somehow cured you miraculously? How did you get your wish? Were you flown down to LA to voice the character & did you meet any of the other staff or voice actors when you got to the studio?

Ooh! Bonus question for Liz and Leandra!
Liz, with the advent of Nickelodeon doing revivals of their classic shows with the Double Dare special and Legends of the Hidden Temple TV movie last year, and the upcoming TV movies of Hey Arnold!, Rocko’s Modern Life and Invader Zim coming, if there was ever an As Told By Ginger reunion or revival in some way in the future, would you be down to voice Courtney again? What role do you think she would play in it?
Leandra, if there was ever an As Told By Ginger revival or reunion in some way, like Nick has currently been doing with their classic shows like Double Dare, Hey Arnold!, Invader Zim and more, do you think the character of Leandra would return for the revival? What role do you think she would play? And most importantly, would you be willing to voice her again?

Some questions for Liz. Liz, how did you get the role for Courtney and did you audition for any other characters besides Courtney? Liz, if you could voice any character on As Told By Ginger other than Courtney, who would you have voiced and why? Liz, if someone told you that As Told By Ginger would still have a fan following nearly two decades later would you have believed them? Liz, you voiced Maggie Simpson in the debut short for The Simpsons "Good Night" on The Tracy Ullman Show, how did getting that role come about?
Some questions for Leandra. Leandra, what did you think of the recording session for the episode Butterflies Are Free? Leandra, how did your friends and family react to you being on As Told By Ginger as the episode aired in the States 2 years after the recording session and possibly months after it aired in other countries? Leandra, what are you doing these days, and have you told people over the years about voicing a character on As Told By Ginger?

Hey, thank you both for guesting on this podcast. My first question is to Liz and it would be, how did you create the voice of Courtney? What did you pull from your life, experiences, etc to build this characters voice and attitude? How much of it was in the script as how much was your own say and voice acting? For Leandra, I wanted to ask what the experience of joining the cast for that day was like? What did you see, do, and who did you meet while being a part of the show? Also, did you have any say in what your character said, and did? Do you still watch atbg today? Again, thank you both very much!

SQUEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!! OH MY GOSH! WELCOME, MS. COURTNEY GRIPLING TO THE PODCAST!!!!
I must say that you are quite the spirit animal for many "As Told by Ginger" fans with your charming "Courtney-isms"!
Now I have a question for your voice actor, Liz Georges. Liz, I really appreciate how Courtney is not your typical snobby girl archetype. She has a heart of gold, and aspires to be like the homely Ginger. With that being said, how much do you see Courtney as a role model?

Hi, Ms. Argyros. Your story is hands-down one of the sweetest behind-the-scenes stories I've heard. It's so touching and amazing to hear that you were a huge fan of this at-the-time unpopular Nicktoon, then got your big break by appearing in one of its greatest episodes! Just awesome! You were SOOOOO lucky!
My questions for you are, were you able to oversee the process of being converted to a cartoon character, and did you see a lot of drafts of the character designs before picking the best one?
